If a date took me here I might punch them in the face, but it's not bad for a cheap "fast food" option if you don't feel like cooking. I feel like their spicy Asian dishes are pretty good considering the price, but I am unimpressed with the famous Mac and Cheese. If you have simple tastes you probably won't mind. This place would be good for people who work out a lot, who do manual labor, or don't mind lots of extra calories in their pasta. I got the pesto for about 5.50 since it was Mac Monday, but was disappointed in the amount of oil filling my Mac and cheese container. It was almost inedible because there was about a cup of green oil in there almost like a pool. The server warned me that it was a large portion and was really rich, but I was thinking "well yeah, Mac and cheese is pretty fatty." The pesto didn't seem to have much flavor and seemed mostly consisting of what I hope was at least Olive oil. Could benefit from adding salt, pepper, roasted garlic and toasting the pine nuts to add more flavor. As is it's kind of gross. If they had higher prices, I would be complaining a lot more. However, I got about 4 meals worth of Mac, and once I get the oil slick out of there somehow and add more pasta/ veggies It might be more around 6. So that is a bonus for me (I'm broke). The servers were friendly and efficient and the place was clean. Wish they had veggie noodles (like zucchini) and even more healthy options. Honestly since we don't have much variety here I'm OK with this place.

Biggest disappointment ever! I was hoping a noodle joint would make their own pasta, the truth is, no they don't. I watched a manager come inside with big bags full of pasta boxes. I mean if I am going to pay $8 for a pasta dish I will buy the same pasta at the store and actually use a good tasting sauce. The pasta dish I had left a terrible taste in my mouth. I will never waste my money at Z'mariks again!

I really hoping to like Zmarks but they fall short. I had the stir fry with the peanut sauce, the sauce OK but the vegetables were not fresh cut and packaged shredded carrots were bitter and dry yuck. They have fifty flavor soda machine that server one person at a time making a long line. The Mac and cheese is OK . too bad there is a need for fast noodle place in Rapid City.

We ordered Udon Noodles with chicken. Noodles were overrun with sauce. Broccoli was not adequately cooked and absolutely not fresh. The tiny bites of chicken shows they are not generous with their portions. Won't go there again.
